The Oxford Cleric of Canterbury Tales
The Oxford Cleric of Canterbury Tales is a very smart and intelectual individual. He would rather spend his money that he is given on books and knowledge than on clothes and food to keep him alive. He is a good man at heart still, he thanks everyone sincerley for giving him money and he will gladly share his knowledge with anyone. The narrator thinks good about him because he is such a scholar. I think that he is a book smart man but not very common sense smart, because you have to put your needs before your wants in order to survive. He spends all his money on books, and he lets himself and his horse starve. Not very smart in my opinion.
