The Friar of Canterbury Tales

The Friar of Canterbury Tales was a very tricky person. He was overly dressed to be a friar. He conned people into giving his money and actually used his position as a friar to do so. I think the narrator admires him for his smarts but also kind of looks down on him for the trickery and thieving that he does. I think that the friar is using his Godly postition to steal from people.
